October 14, 227

Pleased to see that the scale reads 227, down from 228, after yesterday's Day 1 On My Own. I had gained up to 228 over the three days of birthdays and restaurants and batter-fried foods. Hoping it's a sign that maybe this can work!

I know this sounds strange, but I have one splurge day a month. I try to save it for special occasions, all other occasions...I bmof...bring my own food. If they don't like it they can go hang. You have made a lot of progress, I will be following you to under 200, keep up the good work.

I agree with Cmoursler -- a "splurge" or "free" day can be a good thing! It 'shakes things up' and makes your body adjust -- I believe it aids your weight loss efforts.
I had one myself today -- I was feeling lethargic and sick (sinuses) and just took a free day.
Tomorrow will be back on track!
